# Get Help

The support request dialog is available throughout the Kilo IoT Server interface. It sends your message — along with your account context — directly to the Kilo IoT support team.

## Opening the Dialog

Click the help or support option in the interface to open the contact form.

## Dialog Fields

| Field             | Required | Description                                                                                                                                            |
| ----------------- | -------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Subject** | Yes | A brief summary of your issue or question. |
| **Email address** | Yes | Pre-filled with your account email. You can change it if you need the reply sent to a different address. The field validates for correct email format. |
| **Description** | Yes | A detailed explanation of what you need help with. The dialog reminds you: *"Please describe as much as possible and make your text clear."* |

## Sending the Request

Click **Send request** to submit. On success, a confirmation notification appears -- *"Request has been successfully sent"* -- the form clears, and the dialog closes automatically.

If something goes wrong during submission, an error notification is displayed so you can try again.

Click **Cancel** to discard the form and close the dialog without sending.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.kiloiot.io/kilo-iot-server/get-help.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
