Getting Started
Install the open-source KiloCenter MIOTY service center for networking, or choose Kilo Cloud for widgets, rules, and alerts too.
Use the current installation examples only in an isolated evaluation environment with test data. Published credentials, signing-key defaults and network exposure need correction before customer use. Changing only the administrator password is insufficient. Read the installation safety notice before running commands.
Run your own MIOTY network with KiloCenter Community Edition, the open-source service center. This section takes you from choosing an installation route to a running network service ready for base stations and endpoints.
The service center handles networking and passes messages to applications. If you also want dashboards and widgets, automation rules, and alerts in the same platform, use Kilo Cloud, which includes the enterprise service center and those application capabilities.
Start with Architecture and Components to understand the data path, then check the Prerequisites for your route:
Docker Compose runs the stack in containers.
Linux Host covers a host installation.
Local VM and Automation covers a virtual-machine setup.
Kubernetes (Helm) covers a cluster installation.
Review How do I configure KiloCenter? before connecting equipment. Once the services are running, continue with Onboarding to connect a base station and verify device traffic.
