Global IoT SIM Cards

Learn what an IoT SIM provides, what to check for international cellular deployments, and where to manage connectivity service.

An IoT SIM identifies a device's subscription on a cellular network. Used with a compatible modem, it lets a meter, controller, or gateway send data where suitable mobile-network service is available. Kilo Connectivity supplies the SIM service; your equipment and application handle the data itself.

For a deployment across several countries, verify the destination networks, supported radio technologies, roaming terms, and device compatibility before choosing a plan. Coverage and automatic network selection depend on those conditions; a SIM alone does not guarantee service at every location.

Use the connectivity platform to manage SIM service and usage, and review SIM card types for hardware and environmental requirements. To display readings or automate responses, configure the separate IoT Server integration.

Designed for Simplicity, Built for Scale

Plan the SIM lifecycle from a small connectivity test to deployment and ongoing usage monitoring. Test the modem and SIM together on the intended networks before expanding to more sites.

For larger deployments, confirm service availability and commercial terms for each region before ordering the required SIMs.
